This is a great map, Wam, and very beautiful ... This one comes the closest to the correct portal appearances ...

This one is also very nice though you have to add a minute ...

I myself am using the standalone 'Portal Calculator 4' app which I like to have always ready at hand though you
have to add 4 minutes which I like, like this I cannot miss any portal by being 4 to 5 minutes ahead on the spot ...
Unfortunately I couldn't find a valid download site and link anymore by now ... Trylon's link on the MOUL forums
doesn't work anymore ... If anybody would be interested to have it, it is a tiny 28 kb only app with no install,

Maybe the gehn explorers should know that we can't access to the pods though Someone stole the books in the museum...or another explanation (more logical) the shard's admins didn't activated them


Since I don't want to open a new thread for that, could it be possible to open up the Library please ? I want to see what's cooking there ...Oh and BTW, charura was impressed yesterday when I said to her that: "I can't climb over those barricades in front of the library" You must forget about what you are seeing (the barricades) and think of the collisions. Those collisions are sky high and nothing around enabling to climb over them

We activated the pod books, but they got broken by a bug in Gehn.2. They should be working again in Gehn.3. The same goes for the library blockers.

Ok the Pod Portals are working (if you have the books)...

On my timer though you have to subtact 1 min
On the Dni' Museum Calculator you need to add 1 min
On the standalone 'Portal Calculator 4' you need to add 2.5 mins
to obtain the exact time that the portal occurs

It's good to know that our KI time is reasonably close to Cyan's

When we were doing initial testing, I noticed to my horror that the server was about 10 minutes in the future Now, we synch with a time server (NTP) regularly, so the portals should always arrive very close to "on time"--especially if you are synchronizing your system clock as well. If things ever get too hairy, prod me and we'll get it straightened out.

I believe that the time differences are due to how the math calculations are accomplished, plus the age of those particular software packages...

Yes, Wam, this and as Adam stated it can have to do with different shard/server times ...

The times I've provided above for the Pod age calculators where roughly determined from
my experiences on the Minkata Shard and the TOC Shard ... However, as I've already stated,
I love to be a bit ahead of time to not miss those portals and to have time to attentively await
their appearance and then joyfully passing through ...
