Gehn Cavern Status

I am really loving the Gehn shard, but I never know if it is open or closed. Just wondering...is there a link or location that shows whether or not the Gehn Shard is currently open or closed. What i mean is.....GREEN LIGHT is open for business. If that exists...then i would know whether or not it is me just having difficulties getting in or that the shard is actually down for maintenance or what have you. Anyone know of such a status location? THX

You can always check the
"shard status" sticky, or you can put the
status page on speed dial. I'll make some of the signature badges (ala Minkata and MOULa) at some point as well.

Although...i just checked the shard status page...it says green. but i have been unable to login to gehn for the past hour or more. Stalls at "checking for patcher update"
tried several full computer restarts and same result

Looks like we got hung up over some bad data. It's back.
Unfortunately, the status scripts can only verify that the server is running--if things freeze up, they happily say the shard is still available even though you can't actually log in.

I was in for awhile this morning, then while i was "panic reltoing"...before i got to relto proper, it just hung on the spining updating. So i forced the app to close. After that i tried to launch the app again...but was back to the "checking for patcher update" stall.

I've restarted the server again. I have figured out the cause of the lockups, and I'll hopefully have them fixed sometime over the next couple of days.

But I don't think the server is completly offline, 'cause I was in game, but could'nt any longer touch clothes, climbing ladders or else. Nevertheless I got no network error 6 (or else). So I killed the launcher (windows process). Restart hangs by "checking for patcher update". As Skydiver Wanabe writes.
