/me should really upgrade his server to Ubuntu 12.04... >_>

MOSS is an altogether different beast. I don't think any of the Writers involved in CWE development have used it, so if you need help, you can ask me; I successfully set a MOSS server up (then crashed and killed it, but that was my fault).

I got one run error from the O/S so far on nautilus.

The problem with dirtsand may be solved by recompiling ( I was about to fire it up before coming here). However, the build crashed big time. Tracked it down to the location of libreadline.so is changed from /usr/lib/libreadline.so to /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libreadline.so. I reran cmake-gui and made the change, did a make clean && make && sudo make install.

Now to go try to run it. If I don't edit this post again, it means I was sucessful.

(BTW! A new version of pgAdmin came with the upgrade so now I don't have those annoying version warning messages any longer.)

EDIT: <groan> libstdc++ is also in /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu more <expletive> to chase down.

DOH! the inet addr changed... warning! don't use DHCP on your server!

Bottom line... fix the path to libreadline.so in cmake and recompile. I'm not sure if flushing cmake-gui cache and basically starting from scratch is necessary or not.

This is probably the wrong thread... but,

Still having DIRTSAND problems since upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Server crash on client quit: (I have no idea what to look for...)
EDIT: OK it crashes when linking to another Age. I am totally at a loss... something changed somewhere... The program compiles fine. I even wiped the entire dirtsand installation and downloaded and rebuilt everything (except the DB).
I'm seriously considering wiping the disk and reloading 11.10. Either that or just walk away.
