But there is one spot where I got stuck and had to relto out - in the sunken garden, having climbed down the ladder: the sticking place is at the top of the steps leading down to the grass, at the top left hand side of the steps. I went back and replicated it.

Thanks, I'll check out the collision there.
Edit: yup, looks like I missed flipping that face when I had to re-do it all a second time. Sorry about that! I'll send a fixed version to branan to be included eventually in Gehn 11.

Thanks, no need to apologise, it wouldn't be such fun testing if there was nothing to find!
I wasn't sure whether this next thing was deliberate but I offer it up in case it wasn't:

you seem to have stopped us falling into the sea everywhere except from the bridge that leads to the canoe. After trying to get into the sea a few times but finding I couldn't, I was running around without taking care and so was rather surprised to find myself panic-linking out after a long drop through the water. Again I replicated this...

I didn't add or subtract anything, just fixed what was already there; mostly this involved flipping normals and adjusting a few drawspans. This version I received doesn't quite match the one that's on UAM, so I think this may be a later version with some minor changes and additions.
I just checked, and you're right: there is no collision surface there at all. I wonder why he chose to leave it open.
