Do note that my research is designed for shards with stories that begin to deviate from what Cyan has set as holy. I think that on shard with a story similar to MOUL, such as this one, you'll be doing good to drop pellets--mostly because RAWA seems to find it offensive when people suggest that pellets do nothing or are not involved with lighting the lake.

Haha, cool ... ok, more words from on high for anybody interested lol ... :D

RAWA on 'What is the point of pellets?' --> This is the previous short post he's referring to ...

An extensive statement by RAWA in the thread (by OHB) to the subject of 'Current Lake Health' outlining his own
personal care and maintenance of the 'Lake Lighting Project' as well as some clarifications to some interesting subjects ...

This is the link to Tai'lahr's awesome compilation of ALL links, threads and topics and general data ever posted on the MOUL
forums, the DRC forums or elsewhere related to 'Pellet Baking' and the 'Lake Lighting Project', for all interested to know more ... Enjoy ... :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I myself found Zardoz' statement back then very interesting ... that's actually what I was looking for, to find that there isn't actually
any real background story and thus historical canon available ... wasn't sure about it anymore ... I also looked into another interesting
link from Tai's list 'Information from various Cyan sources', where you find some excerpts from the BoA and BoT from The Myst Reader
related to the lake and its luminosity ... :P

Fascinating, thanks janaba! The RAWA post of 13 Jan 2011 in the "Current Lake Health" thread is particularly instructive (if you're prepared to read the spoilers). I assume no-one is
Show Spoiler
for the Gehn shard. As Mac said at the end of the thread

No, our server currently doesn't have the capability to broadcast the global value that he uses on MOULa (which only works in the Neighborhood anyway). Perhaps something like Sirius's script will be added when enough points are accumulated*

* I actually need to figure out how pellet points would affect a light simulation with Cyan rules. It's a bit of a change-of-gears from my puzzle ideas ;)

I can't believe that the month is almost gone as of the 29 Jan at 0552 HRS KI time the pellet score stands at 1,777,910

Out of 26 Neighborhods only 12 are collecting pellets. Since each cycle consists of 5 pellets each here are the 5 top pellet scores.

GoW 05 . . . . . . . 510758 . . . . Black Snake
GoW 13 . . . . . . . 510089 . . . . Crazy Snake
