I think my best solution (in the long run, not just for the purpose of giving the Gehn Shard a visit) is to save up my money, bide my time, and build a superlaser to destroy Intel build a proper gaming PC from scratch. Regardless of how that turns out, I'll keep trying to visit the shard every new update to see if anything changes.
