That doesn't surprise me, after all fanmade Uru Shards generally don't require highly complex MMO servers given the average number of players, so I guess a few shortcuts were taken for simplicity's sake.

Either way, I'll definitely have a look at those terms you wrote. It might be fun to try and make a smallish custom server for my Unity project, and I would love to try to code something that is both efficient and properly thought out. 8-) (Or at least, semi-efficiently-thought-out, depending on my skills).

(Trivia time: my job as software developer somehow always ends up with me having to replace some guy/company who left a project and continue working on the code they started. And oh boy, the code I have to work on... Duplicated spaghetti functions everywhere, barely any inheritance, no architecture, horrible performance, etc. So yeah, currently I have this passion for clever architecture design... )

This issue is very confusing. I'm going to leave the server like this for awhile so I can look at it from time to time.

Just pulled up on the server and found no new stuck ages. The contemplation (and confusion) continues...

Adam, Jason (JJ_Wolf75) tells me his avatar (Jason18) is still "stuck" and can't get into either Er'cana or Ahonay. Again, it may be my fault (playing along side him using PlayOnMac), so I'd be grateful of you could reset the server and enable Jason to finish playing Ghen using someone else (on Windows) to help him. Thanks.

(just to say that I created a new avvie a week or two ago on my second account and have been steadily playing through with no problems at all - no incidences of getting stuck anywhere so far :) )

My avvie (same name) cannot link to Relto. I'd had an issue for about a month prior to this with linking to my Bevin (GoW 95), though other Bevins loaded perfectly.

I reinstalled the Shard in case the LinkToAge error was due to cache corruption on my end, but to no avail. That's when I found this thread.
