I think that JFT's image of the island layout might be better for Yinfara and the way that the Age is designed.

Lonthav's version doesn't seem to leave room for the hut or trees anywhere; and I'm not sure what software he's using, but it's important to remember that everything needs to come into Blender for exporting.

A: if you look at the first map that was posted of Yinfara, you'll see that lontahv's model matches that, and not necessarily the later island one that JFT is running off of.

B: I do believe that's blender he's using.

What we have is two people taking the concept in rather different directions. This comes from the fact that the original concept was not highly complete, and people have developed their own interpretations of it. This is a true mishmash project. ;)

ok, ya we're gonna hav to figure something else out, before we stretch it in opposite directions, too far. we can't go on with the project until we hav this figured it out, i mean, how're we gonna have puzzles, if we don't even know how the island will be layed out? let's get to the bottom of this ASAP, I'll draw annother map, showing how I Imagine it, and we can vote or something. say... can we add polls on this forum?

I think that polls have been enabled for the whole forum now. You'll have to create a new topic of course. Just select the "Poll Creation" tab at the bottom of the "create new topic" page.

Yes I am using blender, and I am sorry for any trouble I've caused. :)
I'll get a map of my version of Yinfara out pretty soon. :)

Ok, here's the map i made, now mind u, i made that quickly before i had to go to school, but I'm sure u'll probably b able to understand it. I didn't draw the trees this time tho. It can be on a bigger scale, but this is what I've got.

Should the edges be cliff or a sloped beach thing?
