Special tutorials, usually for the exporter plugin, but also general modeling tutorials.

Lol... The console is the little text window that Blender keeps open. Check the last message.

Perhaps related: the only time I was able to import an Age was after a fresh Blender start. If you delete all and try importing again, it won't work.

Console:

Import is disabled by default, you must agree that you are not going to use Cyan protected material without their permission.

You must agree to a clause that you will not distribute any material from Cyan Ages without written permission from Cyan.

Go into the Blender scripts directory where you installed PyPRP. Open alcconfig.py with a text editor.

Look for a really long variable name with lots of underscores. Change the value from 0 to 1 if you agree to the clause.

WHY?! do we still have this insane variable? Cant we find something that doesn't require users to manually edit their files?!

You need the .py file. Not the .pyc file.

The .py if plaintext.

Quick questions with 1.1:

1) How do you make a fourth box? You have 1 tab for script, 1 for 3-D, one for Outliner, and 1 for buttons

I only have 3 o-o

2) How do you move your view around? I can only zoom in and out with my scroll wheel. Everything else (like arrow keys) do nothing :P

Sorry if I'm a complete newbie to this...

1) Welcome to the BII (Blender Infuriating Interface (tm)).
You need to split the main window. Expect no clue from any menu. Put your mouse pointer on the lower or upper edge of the main window. When it turns into a double-ended arrow, use the right mouse button (RMB) to open a small menu and choose "Split window". Then move the pointer to split. There is probably an arcane key combination that you can use and immediately forget.

2) Moving around in the BII involves, for some reason, holding down the MMB (or mouse wheel) and moving the mouse around. This is freelook.
Doing that while also holding down the Shift key pans the view.
Doing that while also holding down the Ctrl key zooms the view.

That would be WAYYYY too user-friendly.

Thanks you Chacal :D

It worked... even tho I don't COMPLETELY understand Blender yet >_>

I think using the Arrow Keys would be easier then holding mouse scroll

Any way to change controls?
