/me doesn't think Hoikas can find a netForced stick. ;)

Ok, BobLishman have you remembered to delete the .pyc fies as well? Just sort by type until you find them and delete the whole bunch. Other than that I can't think of anything else. :?

Well, it was line 55 in the old uruprp_export.py module alright where it imported alcconfig. So Blender is still looking into an old copy. Do you have multiple Blender installs?

Edit: Or multiple PyPRP copies that happen to be in a known system path?

Search your drive root for "uruprp" in Vista and if you find a copy of that file that D'Lanor was talking about, delete it. Also, a blender re-install might not be such a bad idea (if worst come to worst).

ok...thanks guys ....stupid Vista (well, stupid me too  ) ... yes, when I downloaded Blender 2.46 I installed it and it created the stupid "Roaming" folder in Application data ... actually, I had several "scripts" folders ...DOH! . Anyhow, removed everything, reinstalled Blender (using the second option "Use the installation Directory") and now everything is working fine ... :)

(I wonder why the Blender installer put that as the second option (not the default) ... that is going to confuse a LOT of people ... (well, people like me ... ) )

OK ...thought I'd report what happened when I exported with the new 1.5.0. plugin ...

It seems to have done something with alpha transparancies ... (everything else seems to work ok, in fact, my waveset now looks REALLY like REAL water) ...

Here's some examples: It turned this ...

into this:

and my new animated hologram from this ....

Now...the "pale blue" you can see where the aplha areas are is the Age colour ... my alpha transparancies have become completely transparent

now...I thought it was a Ztrans issue ....wait for this ... if I add a z-offs ... the whole object ... DISSAPPEARS !!! ...

any thoughts ?

Now... the REALLY weird thing is this ...it's not affect ALL my alpha transparencies ... and... even weirder ... where I have dulpicated objects ...the first one works fine ...then the duplications (which have the SAME material) are broken ... (check out the first fence panel in the post above ...)

I've just spent two hours trying to find out the difference between the "working" alphas materials and the "over-zelous" ones ... and I just cant see where they are diffent ... :?

I've been having the same issue, but I thought it was just me being stupid with the z-offsets, thanks for posting about this.

Creepy looking hologram by the way :P

Same here. Z sorting is messed up again. :(

Edit: From what I see it happens when transparent objects are in front of objects that use stenciling. If I set ztransp on the transparent object it becomes invisible against the stenciled object behind it. If I turn ztransp off the stenciled background object becomes invisible.
