Monthly GoW Meetings

[Guild of Writers]

The Guild of Writers will be holding a series of monthly meetings! Watch this thread for meeting dates and times.
The first meeting will be this weekend, on October 19th and 20th in the Writers pub.

Meetings will take place on:
Friday, October 19th at 20:00 UTC
Saturday, October 20th at 18:00 UTC

(KI Time is UTC-6 for these meeting times)

There is an All Guilds Meeting on January 5th, 2008 at 21:00 UTC.

To avoid confusion:
An all-guilds meeting is not a GoW meeting, but rather a meeting of people from all guilds.
It will be held in Kirel.

perhaps as we did last time, we could have a GoW meeting directly after the all-guilds meeting?

Could we begin having these monthly meetings again? I'd love to have a meeting in game where we get updates from people like Paradox and the other devs (along with perhaps other people's plans for new ages). Make it some constant day like the first Saturday of the month so people can schedule around it.

I think that's an excellent idea, Whilyam.

The all-guilds meeting is already understood to be on the first Sat of the month at 14:00, we should be clear for 15:00 on the same schedule. (I've been to three of the four all-guilds meetings and they usually run an hour).

Could one be scheduled for January? First Saturday seems a bit too close, but what about the second? I think it would be a handy recruiting tool to have in-game discussions/progress reports instead of relying so much on the forums.

We could wander over to the Writers Pub and either hold a meeting, or determine a good time to hold a meeting.
