lol... OK, there are those of us that seldom need to do this task (save a plugin).
In Firefox: Right-click the link and select 'Save Link As...' and save it in Firefox folder per Kato. (Ok, I only use FF to debug web page JS... I din't know) Restart the browser to have it appear in drop down. Also, If you have the Google Toolbar installed... you won't see the new plugin in its drop down of choices. Look for Firefox's search window, its there.
In IE7: This is a sort of 'write your own' thing but IE7 helps. Open up your IE7 Search (see image).
Select
Find More Providers... That will take you to a page where you build your seach tool. Once at the page, there is a yellow tool used to build the new search. (See image)
The text you need to paste in the top entry field is:
- Code: Select all
http://www.guildofwriters.com/wiki/Special:Search?search=TEST&fulltext=Search
The text you paste in can be changed. If you use the extended seach features, you can make specialized searches. Just do the search with options set, use TEST as required and use the resulting URL.
