Korman 0.09 Released

The dasdardly Korman 0.09 is upon us! Korman 0.09 represents 35 commits and approximately 1,000 lines of code changed since the previous version. This release focuses on addressing trouble points and fixing bugs in the plugin. Please note that no progress has been made toward making Korman compatible with Blender 2.80. Therefore this release will only function on Blender 2.79b.

Changes in this release:
  • Added the ability to create and link new Logic Nodes from each node socket
  • Added the "GatherBuild" asset control file to exported Myst Online: Uru Live age packages
  • Changed Logic Node trees to be safe to reuse in multiple Advanced Logic modifiers without specifying specific nodes
  • Enabled the standard Blender panels "Ambient Occlusion", "Environment Lighting", "Indirect Lighting", and world header
  • Fixed a crash in Blender when creating more than one Soft Volume Output Node in the same node tree
  • Fixed a crash in Path of the Shell when an age is exported with "Age SDL" turned off
  • Fixed a crash in Path of the Shell when using an "Auto Follow Camera" Camera Region modifier
  • Fixed an issue in which Python Nodes silently refused to attach to multiple objects
  • Fixed a potential crash in Path of the Shell when using Python Nodes
  • Fixed a potential issue in which Circle Camera center objects would not be exported correctly
  • Fixed a potential issue in which Python Nodes could cause attached objects to be invisible in game
  • Fixed a potential issue in which certain Responder Node states could get stuck at the end in game
  • Fixed a potential traceback in the exporter when using animated Camera FOVs
  • Fixed a traceback in the exporter related to AgeSDL file name case sensitivity
  • Fixed a traceback in the exporter when using an empty Advanced Logic modifier
  • Fixed a traceback in the exporter when using a packed Age SDL file
  • Fixed a traceback in the exporter when using Sitting Behavior Nodes
  • Fixed several potential issues in Logic Nodes that could result in object references crashing the game
  • Improved journal handling in Path of the Shell such that invalid characters do not crash the exporter
  • Improved the description, export, and UI of camera "Tracking Settings"
  • Improved texture alpha detection
  • Silenced many "DAG Zero" prints during the export

Please remember that Korman is still in beta (that's why the first number in the version is a zero)--don't shoot if there are bugs! But, as you can tell, a great many of them have now been fixed :)

I am super happy to have just locked down a 3 weeks long vacation around christmas.. (Something I haven't been able to do in years.) Gonna have some quality time with Korman. :twisted:
