The Age is called Large City right? so why is it Ahra Pahts and not Pahra Pahts?

Ahra isn't a sole word it would be a comination of Ahr and Ah

ahr- [go (?), enter (?); do (?)]

ah . Preposition marking an object directly affected or perceived.

pahrah, pah-rah, great, large.

If I remember correctly 'Ahra' is just a made up word. I didn't even know Pahra meant large; just an odd coincidence.
Earlier in the project (february?) we had a poll about the name and several ones were just thrown around, but just made up names, nothing deeper. I might be wrong though.

I seem to remember that too.
Well, it's rather late to change anything at this point...

Now we know how Cyan felt about the whole Watcher's Sanctuary/Restoration Guild/Great Tree Pub age name identity crisis... :P

The 'large city' was more of a nickname that just came naturaly; much like Ae'gura & the City.
However we could throw a funky mashed up together backstory about the name confusion, like: "When the Age was discovered a large partly-destroyed stone read 'Ahra Pahts' it was only later when the missing part of the stone was discovered that the full name of the Age was revealed.." :P
