It gives a 404 not found for me. Can you check the link again please?

Must be a link from the future. Browsing the folder shows that the latest release uploaded today (June 2, 2010) is 08J.

Weird - I can right-click the link above and choose 'Save link as...' then successfully download the file. But if I browse to http://www.ahrapahts.com/workspace/releases/, I don't see it (as D'Lanor mentioned). And the file is not listed in an FTP session.

I do like the dedicated web site to Ahra Pahts - the web pages look great! But the file management issues are driving me nuts! Anyway...

I re-uploaded the new release. I tested the link above. I double-checked the FTP listing afterwards. I triple-checked the web listing - here's what I currently see as of 8:22 am EDT:



So, come get it while it exists! It may disappear into the ether at any moment...

Ah ~ I now have the file after a 2 min download ~ now for a little exploring and I will enjoy this new shell

Excellent ~ I especially like the floating Journal, you can actually see it rise and fall in the gentle breeze

This is all very weird Robert, and to be honnest I have no idea what is going on.. This doesn't make any sense to me, the file was obviously working for you yesterday; but I connected to the FTP and couldn't see it in the folder.
Since the whole goal of this server is to make things easier, not more complicated, it might be best not to use it for now.. I'll contact the host's customer service, and see what is going on.

In any event, it's working for me now, thanks!

UPDATE: I made a new release that fixes the wrong numbers for shells 303, 304 and 305. Also, if you disable paging, the Python scripts will take a 'breather' in between loading all the shells at the start; this hopefully will fix the problem of clients losing contact with the server.

UPDATE:

I corrected the wrong page numbers for the new shells 303, 304 and 305 I inserted in the last update. Plus, I included two of diafero's fixes:
- One of Shell 232's unused textures was causing problems on some systems
- When paging is disabled and the age is in use on a shard, the paging was moved to a timed event so that the client wouldn't time out
