Figure I haven't posted in here in the past 2 or 3 days...

I finally figured out a problem with my .blend file that made all the faces not connect to each other. It was really annoying because it began to create multiple vertices in a place where there should only be one -- made editing and fine tuning annoying <_<

Anyways I got that fixed by importing that .blend file into an entirely new one. No clue why that did the trick but I'm not complaining.

Other than that, I've just been retexturing a bunch of stuff so it looks better.

Hm... that's really about it. :P

you may have ironed out your problem already, but have you tried "remove doubles"? it removes all selected verts that are in the same location. (i.e. select the entire mesh, (A key) then click the "remove doubles" button in the edit controls. you'll see a little popup menu that says "removed:number" click it, and they're gone.)
