Yeesha must have some kind of nuclear power-plant that powers her enter-the-tree door. Her door even has massive friction from rough rock against damp soil. You need a lot of power for it, especially in prologue and the start of UU when you had tons of people wanting to get past the cleft at the same time. ;)

/me gets the idea of running a computer cluster just by adding a computer to an age and then making tons of instances, this'd work if ages behaved a bit like threads

The book room in Toroolbah looks great, Whil.

I guess I need to locate the journal (again). ;)

Yes, the door will be worked on in the next release. The door also needs sounds.

As for power, since Toroolbah is built on a semi-volcanic island, the door is powered by high-pressure air from underground. To go up, the pressure is directed below the door and then sealed again. To go down, catches are released and the door falls back down.

Ah, that makes sense.
Suggestion: a sliding door does not have to be in the same shape as the doorway. Your doorway has a rounded top, but the door could be a rectangular slab, so that when it is down the teshold between the two rooms is simply the top of the door.
