I want to thank Branan that he is willing to except this task.
Its good to know to have a technical ,aswell in "human relationship", competent person for this.
You have my fully support.
Those wonderfull Worlds are called " Ages" , because that is what it takes to build one.

Nothing against Branan, but:
1- Has OHB ever been officially nominated? I don't see a poll, or an official announcement. If not, then he isn't absent, he just has nothing to do.
2- Has anyone tried to actually contact OHB? If not, maybe he isn't absent at all.

When you're in contact with someone /every/ day, in skype, mumble, and IRC...

And they completely vanish off the face of the earth.. they're absent. OHB is absent. He was fairly active on the MOUL forums, too. He posted he had some issues happening in his life, and he would be gone until further notice.

This means he is absent. All evidence points to him being absent.

Indeed. While it would be lovely to have a spirited academic debate on the meaning of absent, I'd much rather we actually get something accomplished.

I suspect foul play.

Actually, I don't. I nominate Branan as well.

Yes, now that I have actually been told the evidence, it does seem right.

I agree, OHB's absence is uncanny. Not sure what happened there.

I really don't know Branan at all. The name is familiar but I have had almost no interaction with him. As a result I will simply abstain from voting--doesn't look like he needs my help anyway, though. He is clearly the most popular candidate, and I'm sure if this many people support his appointment then he is probably a good choice.

I don't have OHB's contact info and thus cannot do anything to reach him other than PM him on the forums. I do think that we owe it to him to at least attempt to notify him of this change in the weather regarding the HR position. I'll PM him on the MOUL forums; I'd appreciate it if those who have his email address would let him know what is going on that way, as well.

Just as a note: I'm back. And in the future, it's really easy to contact me if you look at my webpage. :)
