The Age of the Lone Tower

A modern writer(Myself.
) links to his second age, which is a rocky island in the middle of the ocean, and the sky is a dark purple-ish color. Upon exploring hte island, he discovers natives, who are trying to build a tower. Apparently, the island is sinking, and no other islands have ever been found, so the only way to escape, they believe, is up. Kedri spends the next year or two helping them in this endeavor, and thus, The Age of the Lone Tower.
I have other plot twists for this age, but I'm not gonna spoil them yet.
