Where to get sounds?

Postby Mystified Explorer » Thu Feb 07, 2008 2:00 am

I was just wondering where everyone gets sound effects? Things like water, birdsong, wind, bubbling lava etc. I'm not quite sure where to start but I need sound effects for my various projects :)

Try your local library, they often have CDs with effects on them.
Otherwise Google is your friend.

Here's Ghostwriter recording sound today in horrible cold with two directional mikes and a DAT recorder.
I was her faithful assistant.
