Other than rulers, styluses, ink mixing plates and other writing tools, since a hypothetical true writer would need to know so much of the natural sciences, I'd expect anything you'd find in physics/geology/biology/chemistry/etc university labs. Pulldown maps, charts and diagrams, walls lined with cupboards containing various demo experiments. Maybe make the inkwells part of the tables? :7

Slightly off topic:

How DID they make that ink anyway? Did they really grind up beetle shells, or is it rather that the beetles are indicators of suitable plants, which they like to nibble on? I mean, assuming the first case and given the use of beetles in the gahreesen reception area, would that make them cannibals...? :7

Hmm, wasn't there something on the topic in Achenar's last diary in Revelation...?

Ok guys, I think what I'm going to do for starters, is add two things:

1. Add giant imagers like in the guild pubs at the front of each classroom, so pictures and notes can be uploaded so real classes can be held ;)
2. I'm going to add diagrams and notes along the the walls of the classroom

If any of you want to donate diagrams to be put into the age, that is perfectly fine, but if not, I'll make something up ;)

I made a new texture for the floors for each of the various rooms and hallway intersections, and let me tell you, it is amazing what a small texture change can do:

Music is still being worked on by Turjan, once the last two music pieces are done (Library & Gallery), the age will go through the GoMa, and then on the ULM.

So basically, it is in Pre-Beta as of now. :D

I'm really liking the new floor texture, it kind of reminds me of Amateria from Exile. I also love the concept of the place and can't wait to go there in online Uru.

Maybe try making it look a little less evenly lit. Try baking lightmaps or at least painting vertex paint in the corners of each room. :)

Lookin' good. :D
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

Did some work on the islands visable from the view room, by adding algee to the edges of the islands:

And, did some detail texturing on the circular seats in the concept room. I combined my texture skills with a Cyan texture and got:

oh, and Lontahv, if you can show me here (or PM me) examples of the vertex painting you were talking about, I'd be very grateful :) (I'd perfer that over lightmapping)
