Those crystals don't seem to weight more than 20 triangles each, which is perfectly fine. Even if you put 20 of them in a given scene it's only 400 polygons which is very low.

I aways enjoyed working on detailed stuff. The cluster is actually a reproduction of one sitting in front of me......more or less, next Im gonna try to make a Geode. Ill figure this blender out yet
