Guild of Writers

Concepts are coming together (we still need help in that area) and SR's new projects are coming together. The group is now looking for people willing and able to make the story which will be at the forefront of the Ages. This can extend from the overarching theme down to the history behind a single ship. Applicants should have good writing skills and be able to write both D'ni/offworlder texts and modern historical accounts of Ages/areas.

I thought I sent you a PM or a message... maybe not... But this is an area I could really help with if you wish. But it would be withmy alternate avatar if that is ok.

I don't have huge amounts of time, but I'm willing to be involved when and where I can.

As an explanation - I work full-time as a software quality analyst, I write (I've got several short stories published), and when I can I play with creating Ages. Oh, and I have narcolepsy, so I'm rather tightly limited to things like how late I can stay awake, and so forth.

Story though, that I can do.

My command of language is quite good, though I'm somewhat weak with character and plot; I could probably contribute to worldbuilding if desired. I suspect I might be most useful as an editor, but I'd like to try writing.

I should have seen this before I started the UDRG.

SR's been mostly-dead lately. I've had very little interest in working on Uru projects and everyone else seems to vanish whenever I'm not active, so... It's a pity because we have some neat concepts and an Age almost-done, but we lack modelers.

I can be a modeler, but I am not very good, and I use Blender.

Even if you're not very good, it's better than nothing. I'd really just like to see SR put an Age out there properly, but I can't force myself to be interested in Uru.
