Thx a lot DakotarJ.

I think I can use this one.
I changed the lightning, contrast and colors a bit in the Gimp and appied it to the billboard.
Here is nearly the same picture now with the new boat "in Game".
It definitally is more in style.

Yeah I agree, it fit's the style a bit better then the first one, It looked like you were gonna get attacked by pirates. :lol: Not the feeling you want went visiting an age I don't think.

Very nice! Much better than the galleon.
Having seen it in game, it seems to me a little too big for the distance, but maybe it's just me.

Heh how it's supposed to swim? Sidewards? Or the sail is just a decoration?

How about the sail is a flexible energy (solar) panel driving a D'ni motor below the water line that induces a laminar flow in the water in contact with the hull.

If it was square to the air flow it would act as an air brake.

Or, maybe, it's just hauled by something under water (a shroomie, or turtles? A magnet driven by a floating field?) - this could be the reason why the keel has a hole.
And the sails is simply a protective shield against sun radiation or rain.
