Additional step for importing new objects

I presented here a tutorial on deleting and importing objects in a Uru PRP file.
Here is an additional step that is required only when importing a new object into a prp file (as opposed to importing a modified version of an already existing object).
This additional step goes after step 2.3 in the tutorial, so I am starting it at 2.4.

A prp file contains an index of all objects in the prp. This index is called a "scene node".
When adding an entirely new object in a prp, the scene node needs to be updated accordingly.

Adding an object to a scene node

Let's say we just imported a new object "NewFloor2" into city/ferry, using PrpShop.
Then we add the object to the scene node as follows:

2.4 In PrpShop, open "RestorationGuild", "Main", "Scene Node". Double-click on "city_District_ferry". This opens a list of objects in the right pane (Figure 1)

2.5 Right-click in the right pane, then select "Add object". This opens a small window called "Find object" (Figure 2).

2.6 Using the selector next to "Object:", scroll down to the "NewFloor2" object and select it (it should be at the very end of the list).

2.7 Click on the "OK" button.

In the short-hand notation introduced in the tutorial, this step would be written as follows:
Code: Select all
Add "NewFloor2" to city/ferry/Scene Node/city_District_ferry
