At last, after a long and weary slog, I have something worth showing. There is grass growing down there, albeit sparsely as yet, but I have hopes that that will improve when I have Written in a water table. That sharp edge is still bothering me, and I have no idea why it appeared when I deleted the passage relating to the plants, or, for that matter, why the plants did not appear in the first place when I Wrote them in, but the sense of achievement that stems from what I have managed to do is undeniable.
Age Five will be next--a fateful number. Hopefully it will be the first one to which I can give a name.
I owe endless gratitude to my fellow Guild members and tutors for the patience with which they have dealt with my equally endless questions and complaints. That there is an Age here at all is due almost entirely to their efforts.
And now, to bed.
