What Age are you working on?

Post by Aloys »

It seems to me that there's been pretty serious slowdown of Age releases lately.. Surely though there must be some Ages that are under construction.. Time for a "what are you working on" thread. :)

I'll start. Lately I'm trying to complete a serious addition to my Relto: I've blown up the mountain and added some living quarters here. I actually started that over two years ago; but two weeks I got inspired by Karkadann bumping one of the Relto pages thread and I've made good progress. I'm using Cyan textures as placeholders, but I might keep some of them in the end. I'm about 90% done with the modelling, so I'll move on to texturing, and then the dreadfull phase of Plasma integration ('not looking forward to that.. :S ).

Aside that, I also plan to work a bit on the Escher Relativity Age; but that's just getting started.

Nice Relto!

Well i think i have been quite busy lately.
May be you noticed i have done a large update on my age TurtleIsle.

There will be a much larger update on the same age after 1 may be 2 month.
I will introduce a day and night cycle, open a whole new area, and try to make a new puzzle in it.

Another age is progressing well, i don't have a good name for it yet, for now its called "Cathedral".
Look at my current avatar and you will see a part from what is ready at this moment.

Then I have a third age in development, also no name yet, its progressing slowly and for the first time i am using Blender 2. 59 for that one.
That's it .
But as fresh ideas come up, then i usualy set up a little testage for trying new ideas.
Those wonderfull Worlds are called " Ages" , because that is what it takes to build one.

1 or 2 weeks ago I get an idea for an age, but for now it's only a picture in my head. Currently I expand my ideas and will start modeling in a few weeks. I also want to try out some new possibilities in MOULa, like Pixelshader or mirrors/controlcameras...

Wamduskasapa and I are working together to build the follow-up age to Rahsoo Bahrotan. We're not giving away any spoilers, but it will be finished and available before the end of the year. We're old and can't be wasting time  .

And by now we're all aware of just what it is I'm working on: DIRT always working on that. But I have a nice pipeline of content that will hopefully keep a server going with fresh stuff. And I've been doing some SR work of the area I've been working on for them.

I've been working on a long-ish term project, here are some assorted bits and pieces from it, and definitely not all that's been done =P

Avatar Select screen, this is a blender render, to preview it, I've linked this on the MO:UL forums before. The "Rand" avatar is to show where the player is (Very WIP):
