Soft Volumes at 1.2.1

Do Soft Volumes work with the 1.2.1 version of the plugin? For lighting?

I'm following the old tutorial on Alcugs,...but, it doesn't seem to be working. Basically I'm trying to keep the sunlight from shining on the inside of a inside area. I've tried using exclusive group too, but the damn sun STILL lights up stuff in my inside area.

Well I deleted the softvolume.

But the reason the Exclusive grouping wasn't working was my fault. I forgot to go into Materials and tell it to be exlusive too. Works now, inside is not being lit by the sun.

Softvolumes do work for avatar lighting. I've used them in all the ages I've released so far, and as far as I can tell, the tutorial on alcugs is still correct. Perhaps you could point out what you have done and we could try to sort it out.

No time to right now, I've got so much to do to finish this Age up by Saturday it's not funny.

But making the area exclusive worked like a champ. Lighting looks pretty good I think.

For the soft volume, I tried putting in a plane soft volume. Followed the tutorial on Alcugs exactly, but the one thing that got me was that when I entered the area, when I turned back, I couldn't see outside. It was a white face of that plane.
