Yes. You have to open up User Preferences (the fat looking little "i" icon) and click on the File Paths button.

Then under Python, click on the little icon that looks like a note.

Then close Blender, and reopen it. Try again to export and see what happens.

Well isn't that the strangest thing ever. I can walk around just fine in 3rd person, but when I switch to 1st I crash. What happened there? And if it helps, should I delete ALL the files in my TexCache folder and have the thing recompress the textures?

Edit: I just tried it again and while I was actually exploring my age in 3rd person some of my textures and objects disapeared and flickered on and off and when i made my way to teh chair they worked (I need to invert the axis though ;) ) and when i went to the other one... BOOM!!! Blue screen of death! And my entire computer crashed. I think I do need to recompress my textures.

Hmm, kinda doubt that...

What my may need to do is to untick "shadebuf" for all your materials (except those you specifically want it enabled for), because as of 1.4, objects cast dynamic shadows, which is neato++, but rather taxing on the hardware. The shadebuf button enables the shadows and is on by default.
-But you may already have done that, given that you don't report horrible frame rates. :7

yes.... you must turn Shadbuf OFF on EVERY object's material in your age ... (objects will cast shadows with v1.4.0) . ... but most graphics cards collapse when asked to cast shadows on everything in an age ... try NOT to use the Shadbuf except on a few "special" objects (usually kickables) ...

There is a script (by Nadnerb) that you can download to turn off Shadbuf on all your objects ... HERE ... (scroll to the bottom of the post for the link) ...
when it comes to Age creation ... "DOH" seems to be my middle name...

you have a second colon on the line and no space between them

That is not an error. He copied the code correctly. That is how a ref is formatted.

Ok, thanks for letting me know.
It was just something that I saw that looked out of place, obviously now it wasn't

Well I used the script and turned off ALL the objects' shadebuf except for my two kickables. And then I re-exported my age and when I got there, same thing happened! I got a call stack as soon as I linked in! :x What else can I do? Would it be necesary to have the exporter re-compress the textures? And is there a .xml file created by the exporter still, or did you guys throw that out?

hmmm I'm sure we have seen that problem before.. Of course I can't remember exactly what it was. Argh.
(I seem to remember it had something to do with avatar shadows, but I might be wrong)
