Ehm, as far as I know that is rubbish.

Slight error in that statement, I mean while in Object mode under Object menu

Not so, as it was a bug in my shell that I spent weeks racking my head over trying to fix, twice.

Another bug was introduced when I extruded edges, in that they didn't create new faces, so I had to use the "F" key whilst in edit mode, though that doesn't appear to be the case here

Thanks guys, the problem is solved, I hope.
I have raised the 7 vertices on the right side of the picture a little bit, no falling through anymore! I hope it stays that way.
Btw strange behaviour though.
