Adding edgeloops

Is there a better way to add edgeloops to something WITHOUT subdividing it, because I'm addicted to that key when it comes to adding edgeloops, and I use them, ALOT :D

Subdividing is okay. Subdividing too much is a bad thing though.

Do not subdivide the entire mesh, rather, select the specific edges that you want subdivided and only subdivide those.

Try using the loop cut tool. Press K, and select loop cut, then hover over some selected faces until you see the purple line indicating where the cut will be. You can roll the mousewheel to increase or decrease the number of cuts. Pressing the left mouse button or enter will finish the operation.

Try loop-cut. It's the first option in the menu when you press the "k" key in editmode. :)

Oh, Nad I got stuck with the SQL requests and you beat me to it posting.
