Uru Missing files after Drizzle convert...

Postby Embreon » Fri Apr 23, 2010 7:38 am

After having a lot of trouble with the .age files ( wich for some reason will not convert from .txt to .age ) I just used a .age file from uru and edited the contect which seems to work ...

After following the tutorial and exporting with the plasma export i'm converting the file with the drizzle converter... After this I get 3 files

Mat_testage
testage.age
testage_District_mainroom.prp

I copy these files into the .dat file from Uru and start to age in the nexus...
When its loading the age it gives me a error that there are files missing and I need to reinstall Uru ...

Am i missing some files for this " testage " ???

thanks !

Okay, you're missing some steps here:

First, when you create your .age file with Notepad, when you go to save it, you need to go down and change the "Save As Type" from "Text Documents" .txt to "All Files"

If you don't, your .age file will not be recognized by the Max Plugin.

Drizzle SHOULD put your age that it converts automatically into your Uru "dat" folder for you. Make sure you have your game folder set correctly for Drizzle.

Try these tutorials and see if they help:

Ok , thanks got it working ..

About the extention change ...
Windows 7 does soemtimes does not allow you to change the extention of a txt file .. even if you save it als a All files type ..
Because the extention is hidden , and you can get this in view by setting it in the map options in on the configurations screen ...
