Orca to UV?

Postby bnewton81 » Thu Apr 21, 2011 7:09 pm

Would it be crazy to ask for a script that would convert orca to uv so that it would export and work in an age? Can you map a blender texture like, verroni or blend to uv? Ya know, some times ya just want to cheat; take the easy way out. Thoughts?

I know I'm new at this, but I've already discovered that I can UV map to anything and then set the UV mapping in edit to any other thing I want to use, including Orca. As long as it's UV mapped to something, PyPRP will export it. Isn't that already easier? Or am I misunderstanding the question?

Hell if I know. But Thankyou for the info. I'll play around with it and see what happens.

If you want to use orca in uv, then choose in the uv window for the option "reset."
All the faces will now unwrap to an exact square ,resulting in uv coordinates equivalent to the orca setting.
Those wonderfull Worlds are called " Ages" , because that is what it takes to build one.
