Confirmed; that thing is buggy as a 12 years old Windows 95 install.
It is correctly set in the preferences and correctly saved as default settings, yet often it just doesn't work also it is checked in the preferences window..
Ha well. back to 2.49 for now. 2.57 doesn't add too many features that I use and remove several that I do use, so I might as well wait for the final version in a couple months.

Won't be much easier then. Best to use the new version for all the stuff it can be used for now and be ahead of the curve when the final release does come out. That's what I'm doin, but I iz tarded too so...

After using the new blender for a few different models, I am convinced; WIN! So so so so much better. Now if we can get a working PyPRP plugin for it my life with be complete.
