Book Monument

Just had an idea for a monument of a book as a link in a chain. I haven't added the chain yet, but wanted to post a pic anyway. Nothing special yet just a rough outline. I'm thinking of making the books pedistool set on water that flows over the edge. Something like that.

yeah, i was thinking of adding chains on either side of the book to symbolize books as an important link in the D'ni chain of society. Something like that.

I feel silly for posting this now, but I get excited when inspiration hits. Its so rare. I promise i don't get excited over such simple models. It was the idea that made me post. This monument is going to fit perfectly into the uru world. Just like something you would see in myst; full of sybolism and detail (the finished model will have more than the 5 verts the picture has)
