New Age Ready for Testing

I have just installed the latest Blender 2.57 and imported all my files for my Age. Whilst there is still a lot of work to do, I would like to insert it into UruCC to see how it looks. I know I need PyPRP2, but what else do I need? I'm sure there were a few tuts around here somewhere a while ago, but I can't seem to find them.

I'm not familiar with the recent Blender/PyPRP releases, but I assume the old how to export and walk on a flat plane tutorial may be of some use. The only other piece of software you really need is OfflineKI, but as the article says, it's helpful to download Drizzle.

The age-creation setup you'll need is dependent on what you plan do with it. PyPRP2 is the only plugin that will work with Blender 2.5, however it is very new and experimental. Because it is a complete rewrite of the original PyPRP, it still lacks many of the features of the original PyPRP. If you plan on building an age with complex puzzles in the near future, your best bet is to download the original PyPRP and the older Blender it works on (Blender 2.4). However, if you feel like trying out the new stuff we've been working on, and you want to shape the way this new plugin grows through input, and you don't really care about things having tutorials and *just working*, then PyPRP2 and Blender 2.5 is for you.
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

Thanks for that. I think I'll run with both versions. I want to use Blender 2.5 because thats the future of it. Besides, by the time I'm ready, we will need PyPRP v3. :lol:

Silly question..but where do you install PyPRP in Blender? The Readme.txt refers to a folder in ...Blender\2.57\scripts\addons which does not exist. The only directory in 2.57 is python. Is there a import option in Blender where I can point to it?
