Areas from older myst games

I will not be making this. This is a request to the builders by a member of the art department. I can provide music to what you make if you like. I would like to see remakes of old ages from old myst games like Riven or Myst Island.

What art department? I didn't know the GoW had an art department.

Sorry to say this, but if you are not going to do it yourself I doubt that someone else is doing it... The most age builder are working on their own projects...

About Riven - some guys are recreating it on a modern game engine (Unreal, I believe). Some of the things they did are quite nice... The project is called RealRiven.

If you didn't know already, you can also explore Myst V Ages on Complete Chronicles, though they are quite buggy (see the wiki about this).

I also did a remake of Mechanical some time ago...

As I said on other topics, this project is suspended, because the map I used to create the fortress wasn't accurate, and the interior wouldn't fit in the fortress.
I might resume work on it someday...

This is unfortunately true. We're not a lot here, and even fewer people actually build Ages.
Personally, I simply prefer to play the game again, instead of visiting newest versions in realtime 3D that probably wouldn't look as good.

There's also the Starry Expanse project re-building Riven with Unity. http://www.starryexpanse.com/

Still wondering what art department he's referring to.
