3dsm Plugin Issues

OK I deleted all files associated with 3ds Max utilizing the Revo Uninstaller, I then Bleached the Hard drive using PC Tools Performance Tool Kit.

I then installed 3ds Max from scratch using the Wiki Tutorial and Max Workspace Tutorial

Other than the following error (the PlasmaMax.gup file is in directory: Autodesk/3dsMax8/plugins/) 3dsMax 8 runs fine:

Did you copy the DLLs from your MOULa installation? That error can occur when it fails to find them.

All six DLL's (binkw32.dll, cypython22.dll, eax.dll, msvcp60.dll, msvcrt.dll & sp.dll) were copied from URU to 3ds Max 8 folder as per the tutorials. THEY were not taken from MOULa folder.

I have deleted those 6 DLL,s and copied the 11 DLL,s from MOULa and now Plasma works!!! BUT - I now need to set one unit as to being equal to one foot

Yup, seems like you were missing the PhysX DLLs.

You have to check "Generic Units". Then the Plasma Unit Error should disappear.
