To move parts of an object, go into edit mode and move the faces or vertexes.

There are tutorials on the Blender site, I remember following one to make a human figure.

And create different windows for other things... how did u get it like that?


That's indeed something you won't figure out on your own.
Basically, you go with your mouse to the divider that separates two windows, and right-click on it. Make sure you see the double-arrow cursor

Now you get a pop-up-menu including the options "split" and "join". Choose split to split one of the windows that is besides the separator, and choose join to join th windows together into one again.
