Okay, this is covered under the GoW Wiki, but I will go ahead and explain a bit of it here.
How hard is exporting your blender creation into files that Uru can use? As easy as clicking with your mouse button 5 times. That's it.
But that's only true IF you have downloaded and installed one of the GoW PyPRP Plugins.
The plugin is scripting files that tell Blender how to export the blend file into prp files for Uru. So it's not really hard for you, unless you have an error trying to export, and that's when you come back here and asked what went wrong, and most people on here will try their best to help you figure it out.
Where do you get the PyPRP Plugin? Right here on this forum! There is a sub forum for it, and at the top of that sub forum is a thread that will have a link to the latest version of the plugin.
How hard is it to install the plugin? Not too hard. But you HAVE to do it right, or you can't export your blend file. This is also covered over at the GoW Wiki. It tells you step by step how to install the plugin.
Once you have the plugin installed, there are also other things you have to do to get your blend file ready to become an Age, that can be run in Uru. Exactly what you'll need to do is all covered on the GoW wiki under a tutorial called: "Your First Real Age"
However, for right now, I can't stress enough that you make sure you are at ease with using Blender first. Most people that try to dive head first into making an Age right away without first learning more about Blender, end up with a sore head.
Think of it this way:
Yes, anyone can learn to drive a car with a stick (manual) shift. Many people do. But many people find it really hard. Too much to learn right away.
Everyone that I know, found it much easier to learn how to drive the car if it had an Automatic shift. That way they didn't need to worry about shifting. Instead, they were able to concentrate on driving. Once they became good drivers, and felt at ease on the road around other cars, THEN they started learning how to use a stick shift. That way they could concentrate on the shift part, as the driving part was now 2nd nature to them.
So I'm not saying you can't jump in the deep end of the pool first if you want. Go ahead, but if you don't know Blender very well, you might find yourself not treading water very well. I'm just suggesting that you keep at Blender for a bit until your feel good about it. THEN go over to the Wiki and start working with Trylon's "First Real Age Tutorial."
