my age is black?

I did just get an age to load into uru, so Yeah me, but all that showed up was one green square. Why is that? I set the lamp as sun. the plane was there though. I walked on it and fell off at the correct point. Also, anyone know why when you export directly into the dat folder all the files are created and when you export anywhere else only some of them are?

What program are you working with ? 3dsmax or blender ?

With 3dsmax I would ask
- did you use the plasma textures, if not the objects get the color that they get when they are created in 3dsmax.
- To light up your age you need Omni light's, not the lights from plasma

The lights ONLY light the meshs. If there is no object to show, it will show black as default color.

To have a... let's say, red sky, you must look these lines in the "init" file in the Text editor

This line is the color of the sky when nothing is shown. The first number is for "red", the second "green", and the third "blue". These numbers must be between 0 and 1.To have white, just turn it 1 1 1.

my plane is a mesh. I did not subdivide it as it was just a test age, but it was still a mesh. The only part that is visible is the small square I am standing on, and that is all that will stay lit. When i walk away from the square, it remains green, but everything around it black. The plane i use for ground is only 20x20 blender units so about 20'x20'.

Did you apply a Material and a Texture to that plane? Did you put any lights in your Age?
