ZOMG. Negative opacity?!?! Just get rid of the opacity setting and you should be ok.

It appears to be there. That setting sets the texture (bumpmap) settings.

Oh, get rid of the wind part in my script... that needs an empty to be made for it to work. So that bit can be gotten rid of. Just try making a default waveset (they have nice defaults).

I've been fiddling with the opacity numbers, that's just what I had at the time. I've had everything from -1.0 to 1.0 set, and still nothing.

As for the parameters, I didn't even look at that stuff all that much. I figured I should try to crawl before I tried to walk. Apparently I can't even do that much Image

Have you tried *really* crawling. ;) :P

Code: Select all
waterwaveset:
    type: waveset
    visual:
        waveset:
            ripplescale: 100

If that doesn't make them show we know it's a geometry problem.

I somehow got the actual plane to show up within the age, so that's good.

It's not reflective at all though :(

Not really sure how I did it either :?

Okay, I've made some great progress with it, but it my concept here is to have the avatar able to walk in this water. It's ankle high at first, then it drops off into a swimmable area. Or at least, that's the idea anyway.

I've gotten the water to reflect the way I want it to, but it looks rather choppy the farther out the view is.

I also want the water to be absolutely still, right up until you move in it, but I have no idea how to accomplish that.

Is there a way to accomplish that?
