As far as I know gravity is set with the spawnpoint. Gravity goes in the Negative-Z direction.
One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.

Here is a basic little demo age. The 4 colored platforms are subworlds with their own gravitational directions.

This demonstrates that you can fool gravity but you cannot fool the avatar cam.

I think the avatar has to enter the subworld in the same horizontal position it has in the main age. Then you can turn over the subworld and the avatar plus its camera should rotate along with it.

If you want to maintain the illusion you want the camera to stay in its own gravity and geometry.

But the hard one to do will be the one Bowie did in the movie where he steps over an edge onto the underside of the surface.

In my example you can go around 360 degrees, except that the transition is not smooth. You will start to fall over the edge until the next subworld grabs you.

That's great Dlanor! :D
It's not perfect but it shows some potential.. Maybe with a bit of work we can do a 'Uru meets Mario Galaxy'.

Is there any way to make negative gravity (anti-gravity lifts, etc.)? Something where you "fall" up, but your feet stay in the same direction?

Yep, use an invisible collider in a subworld that lifts the player up

Thanks D'Lanor, works pretty well but i gotta ask a ouple of questions about it
would having a camera region inside the subworld give the desired effect of the camera at the right angle?

Also as another question relating to that eperiment

would having a few subworlds in between the sides make the transition smoother?

Won't I look like I'm just standing on the platform?
