Thanks for the tip! :idea: I've always wondered if there was a way to "comment out" objects that I don't want exported but still want to keep around as raw material for future modifications. I never needed it badly enough to look into it, but I think that idea wouldn't have occurred to me.

Yeah, i figured that one out after doing the modifications to MOUL. When I made new PRPS i realized I could just create new prps while not exporting an entire cyan age, just by changing the page numbers for the objects i needed and having the book file just have the one page i need. Then make the modifications for compatibility with PyPRP, and boom, worked fine.

Actually, I havn't gotten around to trying it yet. :P Once finals are over, and I don't have so much homework, I'll have to try that out :D

Well, I put all my objects on a page, and tried exporting... still took forever. Then I installed Psyco, and it seems to be taking just as long. How can I be sure I installed it right? Does it say something about it in blender? are new py files in the Blender directory? So far, other than the setup's message (Psyco has been installed), I can't find any other confirmations it has been. I hope it hasn't, cuz it has, and it's still going this slow, then I'm in trouble :P

What kind of computer do you have? (processor speed and memory size)
How many vertexes are there in your Age?
How many objects are there in the Age?

I have 160507 Verts, 631 Objects, My processor: Intel(R), Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1400MHz, 1.40 GHz, 512 MB of RAM
As far as disk space, I've got a capacity of 149 GB, 20.9 GB of free space, and 128 GB of Used space. Not to mention, I've got an ancient video card that doesn't support wavesets :P

Hmm something seems to be wrong then; with that Age and that computer your export times should be much faster..

For Psyco: look where you have installled Python (could be in C:\Python25\) and see if there is a file named psyco-wininst.log. If there is one its content should tell you whether Psyco has been properly installed.

Hmmm... I found and opened the file, and nothing seems to be wrong (although I don't really know how to read it), I assume that if there was something wrong, it would say something like "ERROR Blah blah blah something something something" :P
