Try more granular tests. Wavesets are frequent culprits.

Oh, that reminds me: Try to make sure it'll still have something indicative of water if wavesets don't work. A lot of waveset-water is just invisible on my laptop (Though Cyan's and /some/ fanages work, so I dunno why.)

Invisible water is an issue when there is no GeoState.

Wavesets (more specifically the DynamicEnvMaps) are a cause of lag, I suggest visRegions so that they are only rendered when necessary.

That cat definitely needs a better graphics card ;-)

Is that my problem or is that an age problem? And it's workaroundable in the latter case... Cyan does it, so >_>

Old versions of PyPRP generated wavesets will all the Geostate values at 0. This makes the water invisible on some machines. I believe newer versions should have correct default values.

This was not implemented yet in PyPRP 1.6. My version of prp_MatClasses.py with the proposed defaults is still in my contrib folder if anyone wants to test it.

I guess it could be committed to the trunk since no one who tested it before found any problems. However, I still need to document how to revert to the old behavior for people who want to keep that, since this does change the movement of wavesets slightly.

To add it to Relto, some manual file editing is required. Offline KI will however automatically add all ages to Nexus, and you can easily link there with the KI command "/link somewhere" (or more generally, the age's file name).
