Oh I seriously doubt that the article will be really directly useful to the pyprp devs.

Indirectly however you never know...........

You'll never know.

I know that when I imported Ahnonay Sphere 1, that the bump map mesh is there, so it appears to be just a case to animate the mesh to look like water or some other viscous liquid eg, lava or non Newtonian liquid

Anything you see in your import we know quite a bit about. If we don't know what it is--we can't write it into the importer. If you want to see some real "new territory" then use plasmashop or prpexplorer to look at the different classes. The funny thing with this is that we're learning more about some classes in plasma than Cyan knows. 8-) Who knows what might be in there.

Oh, that water article helps indirectly.

As you can see, it loops. ;)

I've been wondering how much truely key personnel Cyan lost irrevocably after MystV and just how well they have been able to regroup since. Anyone in the know?

Ok, we'll just need to find ways to keep you in a state of perpetual state of Bliss, with a threat of yanking it away then.. ;)

Just how much of the animation classes would have to be implemented to just give us basic translations (and maybe transformatons), like with the texture offsets, do you think? :7

All of them.

All of the texture animation classes are implemented, it's just that not all the possible values are exported.

Yeah, it's creepy how much we have that we're just too lazy to implement. :P

Lazy isn't it really. Cyan never uses most of the texture animation options that Plasma (theoretically) supports. So we don't know what types of classes actually need to be created.

In other cases, the classes themselves aren't known well enough to actually generate them, or the Blender Python API is too restrictive.

...

but in most cases Lazy is the real reason :D
