Linking Books within Ages (revisited)

I recently found out that using the uam method for creating linking books within Ages is of no use if you want to distibute your age via the ULM Library, and, during the discussion in this thread there was the following...

Trylon wrote: However, upcoming python support should allow for using cyan's python files for this kind of stuff

as well as D'Lanor's post with a template of python code which can be used at present ...

However, can someone please tell me if:

a) The support Trylon mentioned is now available in plugin version 1.2 ... (and if so, how to impliment it)
b) If not, are we talking days, weeks or months before it will be?

The reason I ask is because my main age (Paahkweh) relies heavily on linking books to three other ages (the whole storyline, "puzzle"... well, everything, relies on having working linking books within my Ages...

I realy don't want to spend three days working out how to use D'Lanor's scripting if it is now 'outdated' by new ("upcoming") support that is now (or soon will be) available ...

I believe the support for it is in there, but I haven't been able to look at the details of making it work.
If you keep bugging us it'll probably be between days and a couple of weeks, until I or someone else figures it out and documents how it can be done..

thanks for a speedy response Trylon :) ... (there is enough new stuff for me to learn without wasting time trying to figure out an method that will be soon overtaken) ... now... the question is... which amazing developer is gonna be first to show how to impliment it ? ? ? ;) ... the race is ON!
