Yet Another Plugin Error

Well I ran into another error while exporting my age. It has something to do with the verticies or something of an object. I checked it and everything was set correctly and UV mapped correctly but I don't know what is wrong. Here is what my console said after a few tries:

This error has been discussed in a very recent post (last 2 days) and a fix was found.
But I can't find it because the search function returns this priceless message!

Yep, I posted it.

Simple really, somehow, the object didn't have any materials set to it, even though it had UV texture on it

I already had a material set to it and it didn't work. What is the problem? And I couldn't find you forum post either. :(

Since I appear to be the only person on this entire board who seems to have any inkling of how to properly administer phpBB 3... Can you try now? Please PM *me* if you have any more issues with the "too general" error (Oh, I should note that words like "and" and "it" will probably be too general no matter what I do :P).

The post is in the Builders section of the forum, it's short, only 2 posts. Someone was having the same error as you. But they figured out what their problem was. What was wrong was, they have UV mapped a image for their textures, but they had forgotten to give it a material too, and so got this error.

you say that you've looked at your object and it has a material, and you've UV mapped it.

You sure it's the same object? The log you posted says the object is called "Surf.001" That normally means you made a duplicate of your object called Surf (the .001 gives that away, Blender automatically assigns names like that to duplicates so you'll know it's a copy).

Here's what I suggest, change your menu to Outliner, and scroll down until you see the object "Surf.001" listed. Then click on it to select it, and either delete if you don't need it, or once you've selected it, go to the materials tab and double check that it has a material, texture, and UV mapped image.

It has everything accounted for it and it still doesn't work. What can I do now? Why can't anything just work and be done with?!?! :x

When I was working on my shell, I fixed something and the whole model broke, costing me a couple of days work, in the end it was easier to delete it and start again.
