Journals/Linking Books Not Working

I've just discovered that with the latest plugin, all my journals or linking books are not working anymore. This goes for Zephyr Cove too.

What happened? Something change that we're not aware of? They were working just fine with plugin 1.2.1

The problem is I'm no longer getting a click hotspot when I put the mouse over the books, nor does clicking do anything.

I just got them to work, but the solution is a band-aid fix.

I copied the 1.2.1 version of Alc_Quickscripts.py over and over wrote the latest version. Re-exported and my journals and linking books are back to working again. So the problem is with the latest plugin......

Andy: was this with the 1.3.0 release, or with the code in Subversion?

It was with the Trunk files, or "Bleeding Edge" as Kato called it.

1.3.0 and trunk are the same. And they work fine with my books. :?

The difference with 1.2.1 is the addition of the facing condition (which we cannot get to work anyway).

No, they are not the same. The trunk contains a good many updates after the release of 1.3.0, so you should consider it 1.3.0.12 or so. :P

Also, the last change that was applied to QuickScripts.py was a change by Robert the Rebuilder that put a facing conditional modifer in the Simple Clickable. I'm not really sure why...

This means that you have to be facing in the direction of the negative y axis of your clickable or region for the hotspot to appear. Perhaps this should have been made optional. :?

They were the same for that file at the time of posting. I never assume in such matters (unless I say so). I checked. I admit I could have worded it better.

Edit: Just to be sure I checked again. alc_QuickScripts.py in the 1.3.0 download is at this time still the same as the one in the trunk.

I thought the facing condition meant you had to be facing the clickable object for the hotspot to appear? Or is that the same thing?
