Sound for kickables?

I was just wondering ... (and hoping to save myself a lot of time trying to do something that may not be possible yet  )
... but, is it possible to add a sound to a kickable?

If so, how would you go about doing that?

Yeah, they're working... and I know how to use them now.

I wouldn't recommend using the svn stuff though (we're busy making changes that will break peoples ages beyond recognition. ;) 8-) )

Oh hell, not that again. Ever heard of backwards compatibility?

Don't look at me. >.>

It's not the stuff _i'm_ doing that's breaking it for old ages. :? *me looks over at Dox and Nad*

I think that most of the Age breaking changes have been avoided. The main issue was a change that I made in my contrib folder that was never meant to be merged to trunk and released in general, because the change was specifically for some flags and refs that I wanted to make. Unfortunately, I somehow accidentally committed that change to trunk, and then all future work included the change that I had made, which would have broken existing Ages.

Thanks for the explanation Paradox. I am glad you managed to avoid breaking existing ages, although I realize that it can never be avoided 100%. I suspect it will be even harder to maintain compatibility when the time comes to switch to MOUL.

Lon: Don't look at me, I'm the one trying to revert Dox's accidental commits. I'm going insane here. :P
D'lanor: You misread dox. The trunk currently DOES break existing ages most horribly, hence the whole accidental commit thing.
Edit: All is well now. A few small changes were reverted, one large one was kept, and Lontahv's PhysicalSoundGroup contribs have been merged. Also, a wind direction control has been added to the wavesets. Note that all of this is still unreleased. Thank you.

Did that all make it into the latest nightly, or will I have to wait until tomorrow?

Just checked, and that is in the nightly zip.
